Getting to Cambridge

 

Getting to Cambridge is very easy via air, road, train or bus.

Cambridge City Airport is a popular regional airport located just three miles from central Cambridge and Cambridge University. With a strong focus on business, it provides convenient air services to north England, east England, East Anglia and London. The closest international airport to the City is Stansted airport which is situated 30 miles from the City.

The main motorway outside the City is the M11 from the South and the A1 and M1 from the North. The National Express offers coach travel to Cambridge from destinations all over the UK.

The main train station which is located just outside the centre of town has direct routes into Cambridge from most major cities. Going to London takes 50 minutes, Nottingham can be made in 2 hours 20 minutes, and from Birmingham it takes 2 hours 50 minutes.
